Special Education

Inte*Learn is one of the few Greek companies specialized in offering digital solutions that cover training needs in Special Education.

In collaboration with the appropriate field experts and taking advantage of our  experience in the implementation of educational applications and digital platforms, we develop innovative applications – interventions that support training of children and adults with disabilities.

These applications can be used either by trainers-professionals for assisting the interventional process they apply or by the learners themselves to improve their knowledge.

Language difficulties

Educational game for primary school children and children with learning disabilities or dyslexia to support language development. Through a rich set of activities, children practice: Recognition – distinction of syllables, formation of words, distinction of nouns, verbs, adjectives, memory practice, and sentence writing, mathematics and recognition of English letters.

Logotherapy

A series of educational games for kindergarten and primary school children as well as children with learning disabilities to support language development. Games can also be used by parents, teachers and professionals (speech therapists, special educators), who have the ability to fully customize them to meet personalized needs of children.

Learning difficulties
The country of LENOU

Educational game for primary school children (1st and 2nd grades) as well as children with learning difficulties in language and mathematics. It is an application implemented in the context of a research activity by the University of Crete, the University of Macedonia and the University of Cyprus. It includes 70 activities and games that support the consolidation and understanding of language & mathematical concepts.

Intellectual disability

Digital application that provides access to textbooks for 4th grade’s students by converting them to Easy to Read format (in the context of the Call for “Universal design and development of accessible digital educational material”).

The application was implemented to facilitate the understanding and consolidation of the 4th grade textbooks by students with intellectual disability.

It applies the Easy to Read method and delivers the content of the textbooks in a simple and comprehensible way that facilitate studying. At the same time, it offers gamified interactive exercises in each chapter to consolidate the presented subjects.

How to send a professional email

The digital course was developed in cooperation with Margarita Vocational Training Center for GRNET S.A. – National Infrastructures for Research and Technology.

The goal of the course is to facilitate the understanding and consolidation of the steps required to send a professional email. This course will operate as a pilot for developing training courses on digital skills needed by persons with intellectual disability, who want to enter the job market.

AKTINES Special Education

AKTINES Special Education consists of 114 educational games designed for children with moderate and light intellectual disability. The design and implementation of the AKTINES focuses on supporting the teaching of the different concepts taught in the context of special education, covering the following areas: Body, orientation, environment, objects, mathematical concepts, Greek language.

These activities follow different instructional design techniques including modular presentation of knowledge, practice and gamification, as well as customizable activities that offer open space for experimentation.
