New Erasmus+ project for Inte*Learn in the field of special education

CORTTEX - COGNITIVE RESOURCES FOR TODDLERS TEENS AND EXPERTS will enhance the knowledge and competences of teachers from special and inclusive education in the fields of Learning Difficulties, supply them with tools they can use in an educational context and promote their professional development.

Objectives:
i) develop and deploy a set of new cognitive instruments involving multi-methods of learning and teaching;
ii) develop, integrate and disseminate state of the art cognitive strategies (e.g. making mind maps, visualisation, association, mnemonics, using clues in reading comprehension, underlining key words, scanning, self-testing and self-monitoring);
iii) enhancing teaching methodologies including cognitive gamification, cognitive problem-based learning addressed to users from kindergartens, primary schools and secondary schools.

This two-year project, launched in December 2020, is led by the University of Bucurest and except InteLearn includes three other partner organisations: the University of Macedonia, (Greece), the Casa Corpului Didactic Bucuresti (Rumania) and the European Association for Mental Health in Intellectual Disability (Belgium).
